Magic Abilities

Every Player Character and most Non-Player Characters are magically powerful beings capable of innate magical abilities and some learned ones. These are often known as “Spells” or “Magic Abilities”.

All Abilities have a cost of Mana Points (MP) to be used.

Abilities require the ability to speak to be used and cannot be used more than once per 10 seconds.

All Magic requires the user to vocally roleplay casting the spell over at least 5 seconds with use of a certain keyword: these are not Effect Calls and should not be assumed to be known by all combatants as such.

Types of Ability

General Spells

Every fae Character has access to these Spells.

Healing Abilities

Healing Abilities can be gained by purchasing the Healing Magic Skill. When you purchase this Skill you may select 2 spells - further spells require the Additional Spell Skill to be selected.

Affliction Abilities

Affliction Abilities can be gained by purchasing the Affliction Magic Skill. When you purchase this Skill you may select 2 spells - further spells require the Additional Spell Skill to be selected.

Evasion Abilities

Evasion Abilities can be gained by purchasing the Evasion Magic Skill. When you purchase this Skill you may select 2 spells - further spells require the Additional Spell Skill to be selected.

Divination Abilities

Divination Abilities are only available to Piskies. Piskies may select 2 Spells - further Spells may be selected by taking the Additional Spell Skill.

Druidry Abilities

Druidry Abilities are only available to Coblynau. Coblyns may select 2 Spells - further Spells may be selected by taking the Additional Spell Skill.

Evocation Abilities

Evocation Abilities are only available to Gwyllion. Gwyllion may select 2 Spells - further Spells may be selected by taking the Additional Spell Skill.

Illusion Abilities

Illusion Abilities are only available to Korrigans. Korrigans may select 2 Spells - further Spells may be selected by taking the Additional Spell Skill.

Necromancy Abilities

Necromancy Abilities are only available to Booakers. Booakers may select 2 Spells - further Spells may be selected by taking the Additional Spell Skill.
